Frequently asked questions
1. Can we bring our pets?
    Pets are only allowed in some cottages.
2. Do you have rooms for physically disabled people?
    We have 2 rooms that are wheelchair accessible, both non-smoking.
    These rooms are on the ground floor.
3. Do you have different sized rooms?
    Most of our rooms are the same size, except for the cottages which are a bit smaller.
4. What is a guaranteed reservation?
    When you make a reservation, you will be asked if you will be arriving after 6PM
    local time. If so, we encourage you to guarantee your reservation so it will
    not be automatically cancelled after 6PM.
    There are 2 things to note here...if circumstances prevent you from being here that night,
    you must call and cancel your reservation before 6PM local time to avoid being charged
    on your card but the major advantage to having a guaranteed reservation is
    that you can arrive at any time during the night knowing your room will be waiting for you.
5. What about non-smoking rooms?
    We now have many non-smoking rooms, you must request this when you make
    your reservation.
6. What time can we check-in?
    Check-ins are after 2PM only; since our front-desk is staffed 24 hours a day,
    you can check-in any time during the night.
7. Do you have any connecting rooms?
    We have a limited quantity of connecting rooms, make sure to reserve early
    for the best selection.
8. Should we bother making reservations?
    This would depend of course on what time of year you plan on staying at
    Près du Lac. Our suggestion is to not take any chances and make a reservation.
9. Do you have a restaurant?
    We have a large family-style restaurant, open 7am to 9:30pm daily, with a
    variety of items on the menu. The restaurant is entirely non-smoking.
    Menu items range in price from a few dollars to about $15.
10. Do you offer senior discounts/rebates?
    We offer a 10% rebate (on rooms only) to seniors. Proof of age may be requested.
    The rebate applies only to room(s) occupied and paid by seniors.
11. Why won't you give out room numbers when I make a reservation?
    For several reasons, we might have to change the room originally assigned to
    you when you first made the reservation, so giving out room numbers immediately
    might lead to confusion upon your arrival
12. If we stay in your cottages, do we have acces to the Inn facilities?
    Oh yes! Clientele staying in the cottages have the same acces to all the Inn's great services.
13. Tell me more about your cottages....
    Our cottages are located a few hundred feet from the main Inn, and are grouped
    2 rooms together in one building, but are rented room by room, much like the
    rooms in the Inn. They are a bit smaller than the rooms in the main building,
    but have the same amenities. Some cottages have one bed, some have two in the same
    room. The price for a cottage is less than for a room in the main building.
14. Do you have anniversary or honeymoon type rooms?
    Yes we do have 2 specialty rooms, both with king sized beds and heart shaped tubs.
    A complimentary bottle of champagne will be delivered to your room upon your arrival.
    The rooms cannot be rented online, and they must be paid in advance of your arrival.
